Why We Hosted an AI Meetup in Belgrade

Why we did it

AI is already changing how fintech works — how risk gets assessed, how support gets handled, how products get built. We didn't want to just read about that shift from the sidelines. So we got a room full of people who actually build things and let them argue it out.

That's really the whole reason: we'd rather be asking the hard questions early than catching up later.

What it looked like

The room was full of people who wanted to be there — not because it was mandatory, but because they were curious. Conversations ranged from practical applications in payments and risk, to where AI is headed in the next few years, to the tools people are already using day to day. It was informal, sharp, and genuinely useful — the kind of event you leave with actual ideas, not just a tote bag.

What it says about how we work

We're a fintech company that moves fast and doesn't do things just for appearances. The AI Meetup is one small proof of that. It's not the only one — but it's easy to verify: it happened, people showed up, and we're already planning the next one.

We don't have it all figured out. Nobody does right now — that's what makes this space interesting. What we can say is that we're paying attention, and we like working with people who are too.
